How much does it cost?

When will you send me my collected fees for my events and/or memberships?

Immediatly. Compete-At collects entry fees online and then immediatly transfers funds to your PayPal account minus the transaction fee.

Are there any additional fees besides your transaction fee?

PayPal charges a transaction fee when you receive funds into your account. Please visit their website to learn more about their fee structure.

What if some of my registrants want to pay by check?

You can configure each event to accept mailed check payments and provide instructions to your registrants. Additionally PayPal accepts electronic checks. If you accept a mailed check as a payment, Compete-At will send you a PayPal invoice for our transaction fee.

Do I have to link or setup my own merchant account?

Geez no. We want this to be easy – right? All you need is a PayPal account and we do the rest.

Some of my users don't want to create a PayPal account. How do I accept payment from them?

You can accept a mailed paper check if you like. It's a simple setting for each event.

What type of contract to I have to sign?

There are no long term contracts. You can use the Compete-At online event management and registration platform for a single event or hundreds of events.

Is there a separate cost for Membership Manager and Event Manager?

The fee structure is the same regardless of whether it is an event registration fee, a new member signup or a member renewing.

What is the charge for Free events?

There is a minimum cost of $1.00 per transaction. So when someone registers for your free event, we will invoice you $1.00 for that registration via PayPal.

How do I receive my money that has been collected through Event Manager or Membership Manager?

We deposit immediatly into your PayPal account.

Is there an alternate payment method besides PayPal?

Yes. You can accept mailed check payments from your registrants or members if you like.

For my event, what types of payments can I accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paypal direct transfer, Bank transfer via Paypal, electronic check, mailed paper check.
