Registering Multiple People/Children with One Account I need to register multiple people using one Email address. How do I do this? The Compete-At Event Manager System and Passport use your Email address as your username. For this reason, each Passport account can only be associated with one Email address. So, it's not possible to register two people or children for the same event with the same Email address. Here are some options to help 1. Register a second Email address with a free provider such as Yahoo, Google and use this for your second account. You can even forward emails from this new address to your existing address so you don't have to maintain two accounts. 2. Some Email providers allow you to set up secondary or "sub" accounts. So, if your email is "john-smith@yahoo.com" the address "john-smith-regatta@yahoo.com" also be set up and used to register. Check with your provider to see if this is an option. If neither option above is a possibility, contact the event organizer and see if they will accept a paper based entry OR see if they will register you in the system over the phone.
Payment and Refunds How do I request a refund? You must contact your event administrator to request a refund. You can do this by going to your event's homepage. Once there select the "Contact" button on the main navigation. Compete-At cannot refund any participant any entry fees. How will event/store fees be displayed on my credit card statements? The event/store fees will show up as Compete-At.com Inc. 240-497-0037 MD on your credit card statements. When will my credit card be run for store purchases? Your credit card will be run when the administrator approves the purchase. Your credit card is not automatically charged as soon as you purchase the items.
Team Invitation FAQs I was sent an invitation to join an event, but cannot accept it. Why is this? You may not be able to accept an invitation because the event organizers may have locked entry invitations after a certain date. The event organizers may require you to submit papers or they can unlock the entries and you will then be able to accept the invitation. I was sent an invitation but I don't see it in my Email. What can I do? Check your spam folder. If you have multiple Email addresses, ask your teammate which Email address they used. Also be sure they did not "miss-key" your Email address when sending the invite. |
